In our first Constellation, we invited Antonia Steffens from Germany who studied dance in Cologne and Choreography in Amsterdam. Her background and interest in visual arts, painting, the perspective of the image and the public gaze were among the many element that brought her to Kahkeshān. During her 4-week stay in Iran, we had a week of sharing practices between her and Tehran-based artists, Sina Saberi. During a second week, the studio doors were open to guest artists to join the process and then over the third week, we help a workshop for the public to share Antonia’s practice, the practice that was shaped between us the first week as well as the whole 1-month process during a sharing day on which we invited the public to join.
